Elton John to be paid $5.2m to perform for Russian businesswoman

Elton John has been offered $5.2m to perform an hour-long gig for a Russian businesswoman.

The ‘Rocket Man’ hitmaker, 61, would earn $1522 a second if he agrees to sing at the launch of the tycoon’s plush Moscow hotel.

A source said: “Initially Elton turned her down because he�s so busy.

“But when the offer crossed the $4million barrier it was too much to refuse, even for someone of his means. And let�s be honest, $5.2million buys a hell of a lot of flowers.

Actor Brad Renfro dead at 25

Actor Brad Renfro dead at 25

Brad Renfro, the youth doer best known for his role in the legal thriller 'The Client', has died. He was 25.
Reuters reports that Renfro was base dead in Los Angeles on Monday.
Los Angeles County Coroner's spokesman Ed Winter said that Renfro's cause of death was under investigation.
He said: "I lavatory reassert that Brad Barron Renfro is dead person. He was set up unresponsive in a abode... Paramedics responded and he was pronounced dead at 9am (Pacific Ocean Time)."
Renfro, whose other films included 'The Jacket', 'Ghost World', 'Bully' and 'Apt Pupil', had battled drug problems in holocene years and pleaded guilty in 2006 to charges of trying to buy heroin.
After entering his guilty plea he was ordered into a do drugs handling curriculum and placed on probation for triad old age.
